Sea Without Shore is a practical manual for those travelling the path of Sufism or Islamic mysticism, which strives, in Junayd’s words, “to separate the Beginninglessly Eternal from that which originates in time,” in a word, to be with the Divine without any relation. The book opens with narratives of five Sufis met by the author in Syria, Jordan, and Turkey whose lives exemplified the knowledge and practice of the Sufi path. The second part is a complete handbook of the method and rule of the Shadhili order of Sufism, transmitted to the author by his spiritual mentor, Sheikh ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Shaghouri—–from devotions, dhikr or ‘invocation,’ and metaphysical doctrine, to how a Sufi lives, marries, and earns a living in the modern world. A third part treats wider theological questions such as other faiths and mysticisms, universalism and the finality of Islam, the promise of God to Jews and Christians, evolution and religion, and divine Wisdom and Justice in the face of human suffering. The book provides an indelible portrait of a vibrant mystical tradition spanning seven and a half centuries of endeavor to know the Divine face-to-face. Sheikh Nuh Keller was born in the US in 1954. He read philosophy and classical Arabic at the University of Chicago and UCLA, and became a Muslim in Cairo in 1977. He was authorized as a sheikh in the Shadhili order by Sheikh ‘Abd al-Rahman in 1996 and is the leading authority on traditional Islam in the West. He has studied jurisprudence, hadith, and other subjects with traditional scholars, produced Reliance of the Traveller, the 1st translation of a standard Islamic legal reference in a English to be certified by al-Azhar, the Muslim world’s oldest institution of higher learning. Among his other works and translations are Sufism in Islam, al-Maqasid: Imam Nawawi’s Manual of Islam, Port in a Storm, and an illuminated calligraphic edition of Dala‘il al-Khayrat.
Secrets of Divine Love was written for the longing heart, for the one who is searching for something they have not been able to find. For the one who sometimes spirals into hopelessness and cannot help but feel too imperfect for a perfect God to love. This book is for the one who is at the edge of their faith, who has experienced religion as a harsh winter instead of the life-bearing spring it was sent to be by God.
Secrets of Divine Love serves as a compass and guiding light that returns you to the source of divine peace and surrender. Through the practices and pillars of Islam, you will learn how to unlock your spiritual potential and unveil your divine purpose. A. Helwa uses a rational, yet heart-based approach towards the Quran that not only enlightens the mind, but inspires the soul towards deeper intimacy with Allah. By weaving together dozens of inspiring mystical stories, Quran verses, Hadith, poetry, psychology, and science, the author breaks down Islam in a way that is both digestible and inspiring for millennial Muslims.
A. Helwa not only unveils dozens of spiritual secrets hidden within the Quran, but she does so in an uplifting and gentle way that meets each reader exactly where they are on the path to God. While staying true to classical Islamic theology, A. Helwas emphasis on the forgotten teachings of love in Islam has a way of speaking not to just Muslims but to spiritual seekers of all traditions. Unlike your average book on religion that is focused solely on rules and outer practices, Secrets of Divine Love is a motivational and inspiring guide of how to experience the beauty hidden in the heart of the Quran and the Islamic tradition from a place of love, passion, and joy. If you have been longing to experience a more intimate and loving relationship with Allah, then this book was written for you.

Scholars from the Islamic tradition, past and present have spent much time penning praises for the Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Allah has already guaranteed the rank of His Beloved Messenger, so the one who occupies his time, striving to develop a connection with the sublime Messenger benefits himself.
Through the generosity of Allah and His Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace , certain formulas have been found to bring about specific benefits for the invoker. This concise work presents a selection of such formulas drawn from a number of larger works. It was collated by one of the great scholars of Tarim, Habib Sa’d al-Aydarus, rahimullah, whose lineage goes back to the blessed Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
“Whoever sends a blessing upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him ten times, and ten of his sins will be removed and he will be raised ten degrees” (Al-Nasa’i).
Habib Muhammad Sa’d bin ‘Alawi al Aydarus, may Allah have mercy upon him, a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, was born in Tarim in 1351 AH/1932 CE. He has studied under many learned Imams and Shuyukh. He has composed over forty books, and led and participated in many lessons and gatherings of dhikr. He continued to reside and teach in Tarim, as a beacon of knowledge and a pillar of the community until he passed away in 2011.

Volume 8, the final volume, covers an area which most Muslims normally feel shy to talk about. However, the author shows that the Prophet’s guidance provides an open approach to a natural desire that needs to be satisfied so that life goes on easily and smoothly. Islam disapproves of ignoring sexual desires or suppressing them in an attempt to achieve spiritual elevation and excellence. In his approach, based on clear understanding of the Qur’an and the Hadith, the author shows that the lawful satisfaction of the sexual desire earns a believer God’s reward. Moreover, he shows that the Prophet’s conduct provides perfect sex education, in the same way as his conduct in other areas shows us the best approach to take in life.

SEX, SOUL AND ISLAM tells a story of an unlikely alliance between two opposite elements of the human experience – the carnal and the spiritual. The sexual instinct could potentially spoil the soul’s quest for paradise. Instead, they become companions when a believer embraces Islam’s revelations on the sex-soul connection. This fascinating title situates sex in its worldview of life, revisits the spirit behind the letter of its sexual laws, and describes how paradises on earth can thrive – where lovers may dwell in tranquillity, love and mercy. Along the way, it explains how marriage anchors this alliance, reframes a prevalently male-serving view of conjugal rights and reintroduces sensual pleasuring as the underlying theme behind the Islamic outlook on lovemaking. The authors explain how classical Islamic perspective regarding sex might navigate pornography, oral sex, sex toys, fantasy roleplay and BDSM, among other – using insights from the social sciences, sexual therapy and the writers’ own counselling experience.

This stunning new English only edition comes as a hardback with a bespoke slipcase. This work is the result of 15 years of scholarly endeavour – the entire Quran was studied word for word in light of the classical commentaries and then translated over a period of seven years – the process was repeated for a second this time lasting for eight years, resulting in ‘The Quran Beheld’. The work is unique in terms of translations of the Quran as this is by an authorised Sheikh in the Shariah sciences , someone not marred by academic or secular requirements – but someone who has upheld the standards of the traditional tafsir literature. As the translator Sheikh Nuh writes: This work solves an enigma that has puzzled many readers first coming to Islam through English translations of the Quran. The Arabic original stunned hearers in their own language with its unutterable evocative power, incisive arguments, the sharp relief of its contrasts, striking imagery, and precise detail. Most translations stun few. They seem somehow out of focus, vague, the thread of discourse is often inexplicably lost, and they are seldom moving or powerful. The present work is called The Quran Beheld because its translator found that the classical Islamic curriculum for learning the Quranic sciences lifts the veil from the divine masterpiece like stepping from a dark and silent house into a lively spring day outside. Everything changes. THE QURAN All praise to Allah Most High, and blessings and peace upon His beloved Prophet Muhammad, who made plain the ways to attain unto Him and to the highest felicity of this world and the next. The Quran is the most read, reread, and memorized book on earth, for the very good reason that it explains the secret of human existence and answers the questions that no human being can answer. Allah sent this mighty Revelation down to see what might resound back up to Him from living human hearts. For Man’s perceptual reality is not just somehow there, but is rather a sign which denotes a reality underlying everything; namely, that the material world, which seems the most lasting and solid to sense perception, is the most transient of all things; while the most fleeting of things to experience—our intentions, faith, and works—alone shall last forever. Allah says, “Say: The Purest Angelic Spirit has brought it down from your Lord with supreme due wisdom and purpose, to make solidly firm those who believe, and as an incomparable guidance and joyous tiding to all who submit in faith” (Quran 16.102). Here, endless happiness is no mystery, but in one’s own hand, and deep inner peace awaits anyone who connects with, obeys, and devotes himself to the Divine. This Book is the connection. “Whoever works righteousness, whether man or woman, being a believer, We shall bestow them a life wondrous fair, and requite them their wage hereafter as if their every deed were the best they ever did” (16.97). This Book tells what Man is, who Allah is, and what He expects of Man. In a day when the strong eat the weak and commit massive crimes against others, destroying the habitat beneath our feet, and attempting to reinstate feudalism, the One afraid of none is not afraid to tell what He will do to them, so they may reconsider: “So is he who faithfully pursues the supreme good pleasure of Allah like he who comes back with whole wrath from Allah, and his refuge is the glowering hell abyss, and how evil an end!” (3.162). His justice is as perfect as Himself, for if He never punished criminals, they would never cease. In a day when the greatest economic injustices are pursued by devourers of others’ wealth through usury, and the greatest solution to every material ill would be to free the earth of its curse, Allah does not hesitate to say: “Those who devour usury shall not rise on the Last Day, save as he rises who is repeatedly beaten down by the Devil in a seizure, so he falls crazily about in his gait: That is because they say that trade is but like usury, while Allah has made trade lawful and usury unlawful. So whoever an impending warning reaches from his Lord, then desists, may keep what has passed, and he shall be judged by Allah. But whoever returns as he was before, those are the denizens of the hellfire, in it shall they abide” (2.275). And in a day when phalanxes of educated liars are employed to defend the indefensible, it is a genuine pleasure to offer the reading public a Book entirely free of lies because its Author is uninfluenced by anyone, and only tells the Truth. Take it in hand, depend on it, and see if things do not become a great deal clearer, and life a great deal better. It works. “While verily it is an invincible Book; Falsehood cannot assail it from before or behind; A mighty sending-down from One all-wise, laudable beyond compare” (41.41–42). And all praise is Allah’s, Lord of all Worlds of Beings.

The science of Khasa’is encompasses the study of the uniqueness of the actions, the attributes, and the essence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, as well as the special gifts given to him, and the special gifts that are given to the Muslim Ummah by virtue of their status as the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ. Knowledge of the Khasa’is is considered to be one of the keys to benefiting from one’s relationship with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, since his unique aspects provide openings to innumerable blessings. In the history of Islam, the earliest works in the genre of Khasa’is date from the time of the early Imams and compilers of Hadith. This present work consists of translations of two major works in the genre of Khasais and one supplemental work from three of the great scholars of the Bidayat al-Sul fi Tafdhil al-Rasul ﷺ of Shaykh ‘Izz al-Din ibn ‘Abd al-Salam, as well as Unmūdhaj al-Labīb fi Khasa’is al-Habib ﷺ of Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, and selections from Matali’ al-Masarrat li Jala’ Dala’il al-Khayrat of Shaykh Muhammad al-Mahdi al-Fasi. However, in modern times the science of Khasa’is has been neglected, to the point that many Muslims have become unaware of its existence. This present volume is an attempt to rectify this deficiency, to present the Khasa’is to an English-speaking audience in a manner befitting the unique honor, majesty, and significance of Allah’s Final Messenger ﷺ. Each page is the result of a collaboration of a world-class team of translators, editors, designers, typesetters, and printers from across four continents, and every detail represents a fusion of traditional knowledge and design elements with state-of-the-art book production methods. The result is a work the like of which has never before been printed in the English language, that is sure to occupy a place of honor in the library or home.

Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari – Selections from the Diwan of Shaykh Salih Al-Ja’fari, Volume 1 (Bilingual Edition)
•Publisher: Imam Ghazali Publishing
•ISBN: 978-1-8384776-5-3
•Pages: 230
•Binding: paperback
The illustrious Imam and erudite scholar of al-Azhar, Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari, authored an extraordinary amount of poetry on many subjects. The Shaykh's poems comprise twelve volumes, which grouped according to their subject matter, ranging from the remembrance and glorification of Allah, advice for the one traversing the spiritual path to Allah, exalting the excellence of the Beloved ﷺ and the Ahl al-Bayt, and the virtues of the Path’s litanies and salawat.
This book contains selected poems from the first of those twelve volumes. These selections focus on the relationship between the shaykh and murid, as well as the virtues of the spiritual path. These poems were specifically selected by Shaykh Muhammad Salih al-Ja'fari, the grandson of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari. The core of these selected poems, just as in the shaykh’s poetry overall, are from the genre of what is known as madih (praise poetry), in praise of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Ahl al-Bayt.
Regarding the methodology of his father, Shaykh 'Abd-al-Ghani al-Ja'fari said the following:
"This door of spiritual openings, which our Shaykh traveled, is a clear opening, and whoever traverses it will arrive, and whoever arrives will be connected, and whoever is connected will see and witness, and whoever has witnessed, has intimate discourse, and becomes acquainted, and whoever becomes acquainted, is guided to the Muḥammadan Reality, thus he multiplies love by love. As he ﷺ has said: 'A man is with the one he loves.'"
These poems are truly transformative, both for the one who recites them and the one who listens, and represent acceptance and invitation to the presence of the Prophet and his household.
This bilingual edition contains the original fully-vowelized Arabic text with an easy-to-read English translation directly following each line, and has been designed for use in regular gatherings of remembrance

This text is a collection of approximately 400 unique salawat composed by Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari. Similar to the famous Dala'il al-Khayrat of Imam al-Jazuli, the text is arranged into seven chapters, with one chapter for each day of the week. However, rather than a collection of traditional salawat like the Dala’il, the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari is an original text reflecting the knowledge, insight, and outpourings of the Shaykh. Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari was a master of the sacred sciences, and one of the most respected scholars of the Ahl al-Sunnah w'al Jama'at of his generation. However, although he served as Imam of al-Azhar for many years, he is perhaps better known in the West today as one of the the foremost Arabic poets of the past century. These salawat are extremely beautiful, and the reader cannot help but notice their extreme beauty and eloquence. Even those who read Arabic at a beginner-level will benefit, while those who read and speak Arabic fluently will perceive many subtleties of the text’s language, composition, and meanings. Throughout Egypt, Sudan, east Africa, southeast Asia, and elsewhere, thousands of people recite each day's portion of the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari consistently. These salawat have continued to become ever more widely known and more beloved in the years since the Shaykh death, may God have mercy on him. It's possible to imagine that, in time, the Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja'fari may become as famous and widely known as Imam al-Jazuli's collection. This premium leather PU edition of The Salawat of Shaykh Salih al-Ja’fari is designed to present the text with dignity, honor, and adornment befitting its lofty status. With its leather PU-bound hardcover, inlaid cover design, beautifully ornamented page borders, and gold illumination throughout the text, this is certain to be one of the most beautiful books on any shelf. Those who intend to read the salawat regularly or daily may consider purchasing the compact and durable pocket edition of this text as well.

When Ali first meets Amirah, he notices everything about her—her hijab, her long eyelashes and her red trainers—in the time it takes to have one look, before lowering his gaze. And, although Ali is still coming to terms with the loss of his mother and exploring his identity as a Muslim, and although Amirah has sworn never to get married, they can’t stop thinking about each other. Can Ali and Amirah ever have a halal “happily ever after”?
Although many of the Imams and people of lofty status, whom no one could accuse of lying, have reported seeing the Prophet ﷺ in a wakeful state, the issue remains problematic for some Scholars, among both the supporters and the critics of the Sufis.
Imam Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti argues that such a vision is not only possible, but that there are many well-documented examples of such visions, both in the time of the Sahabah (radhi Allahu 'anhum ajma'in) and afterwards. The Imam begins with texts that are irrefutable, from the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, which establish the explicit possibility of the occurrence of such visions. Al-Suyuti then presents sound anecdotal evidence that such encounters have occurred in the past, mentioning stories from the Companions (radhi Allahu 'anhum ajma'in) and from the righteous Scholars and Imams (may Allah have mercy on them). Finally, Imam al-Suyuti concludes this short treatise by providing answers to various possible and plausible objections.
This is a short but valuable text that elucidates one of the more controversial issues related to the people of Tasawwuf, and more specifically to the people of unveiling. Overall, this book is recommended as an introduction to the subject, which is covered in detail in the works of many of the Awliya' (may Allah have mercy on them).
