An abridged commentary of the Ratib of Imam al-Haddad
In this short book, the main part of Habib Alawi's commentary is presented, as he describes it as the heart and essence of the book.
It explains the nineteen litanies of the Ratib al-Haddad, illustrating the source of each invocation and the benefits with references to the Quran and the Hadiths of the Prophet (Peace & blessings be upon him).
It is hoped that this short but valuable translation of the commentary will act as a doorway to the larger translation of the commentary and provide readers with an immediate benefit to its blessings, for all those who are seeking Allah through the greatest of paths; the path of His remembrance.

A Tentative Guide to the Themes of the Surahs of the Qur’an – Prince Ghazi Bin Muhammad Bin Talal
In this seminal work, the author suggests that each chapter of the Qur’an contains at least one distinct theme that underlies—and shows the logical connection—between every verse of that chapter. Moreover, he proposes that the chapters themselves taken together make up a deliberate and unique portrait of human beings and of the spiritual life. Finally, the author argues that the secrets to the themes are contained and shown in the hadith literature describing the spiritual rewards and effects (fada’il) of various chapters of the Qur’an.

"This book is an attempt to positively say what Islam actually is—and always was—as well as what it is not.
The world is at a crossroads today. A tiny minority of Muslims seems to be bent on hijacking the religion of Islam and bringing it into perpetual conflict with the rest of the world. Because of their actions, very few non-Muslims understand the real difference between Islam as it has always been, and the distorted perversions of Islam today. This book is an attempt to positively say what Islam actually is—and always was—as well as what it is not.
About the author:
H.R.H. Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad bin Talal (born in Amman on the 15th of October 1966) is the nephew of the late King Al-Hussein bin Talal of Jordan. He received his BA from Princeton University in 1988 Summa cum laude; his first Ph.D. from Cambridge University, U.K., in 1993, and his second Ph.D. from Al-Azhar University in Cairo 2010."
"The present book aims to take on this challenge by looking at the major problems from these various aspects, as just mentioned. Obviously, one short book can hardly address all these problems and suggest solutions without certain simplifications and potentially controversial assertions. Nevertheless, it can hope to present a systematic analysis and suggested prognosis based on a coherent philosophy. As indicated above, nothing is more needed in our times, and second to spiritual weakening, the greatest problem of all facing the Islamic World (and indeed the whole world) is lack of understanding of the true natures and essences of things.
This book examines ‘our times’ from an Islamic philosophical world view, looking at the problems facing the Islamic World in the near past, present and future respectively in three mutually complementary parts. At the end of each part, it suggests holistic and easilyapplied remedies to the problems it examines. In other words (and for those who enjoy sonorous German and Greek philosophical terms) it examines the Zeitgeist from the Weltanschauung of Islam and suggests panaceas.
Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad has written a number of books and guides for thinking people, and this small but potent work before you sums up many of his most keen and cogent insights and conclusions; for that reason, this may be his most impactful and motivational work to date."

This collection of short wisdoms from the works of Imam al-Ghazali reflects the broad range of his brilliant intellectual thought. With an emphasis upon literary quality, concision, and concentration of meaning, each aphorism is full of value and significance and typifies the tradition of qawa'id (legal maxims) in the Islamic intellectual sciences. A commentary accompanies each maxim unraveling its wisdom.

A Treasury of Rumi: Guidance on the Path of Wisdom and Unity by Muhammad Isa Waley (Softcover)
The version of Rumi that has become known as ‘the best-selling poet in North America’ is not a true one.
There are many sides to Jalal al-Din Rumi – scholar, preacher, saint, mystic, love poet, didactic poet, and spiritual master – but the version of him that became ‘the best-selling poet in North America’ lacks authenticity.
This new anthology of Rumi’s teachings is freshly translated and supplemented with commentaries, and also includes selected texts in Persian. The aim is to bring readers closer to his work’s true, traditional meaning – and to the man himself as a great Islamic scholar, teacher and saint.
Besides illustrating the traditional basis of Rumi’s teachings, this Treasury displays his unique genius as one of the world’s greatest religious writers, whose voice speaks as clearly and compellingly today as in the 7th/13th century
Everyone has, in their view, become my close friend
but they have not sought out the secrets within me.’
Rumi
